On Mondays (our day off), service hours may be slightly shorter.

You can reach our restaurant team daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

We handle all inquiries and requests as quickly as possible.

Arrival

By Car
If you are arriving from northern Europe, take the motorway Ulm – Kempten, exit at Oy, then drive towards Oberjoch into the Tannheim Valley, directly to Tannheim, district Unterhöfen – Geist.
From Switzerland, you can reach us via the Arlberg, via Lindau – Sonthofen, or from Italy via the Innsbruck motorway towards Bregenz, exit Mötz, then over the Fern Pass to Reutte, Weißenbach, and at the roundabout turn into the Tannheim Valley.

By train
Sonthofen (approx. 24 km away – onward by bus)
Pfronten/Ried (16 km – bus connection)

Guests arriving by train are picked up and dropped off free of charge from the train stations Pfronten or Reutte at any time.

By plane
Approx. 80 km from Memmingen Airport
Approx. 120 km from Innsbruck Airport


Free shuttle bus
The free shuttle bus runs from Ulm main station directly into one of Europe’s most beautiful high valleys. After presenting a valid accommodation booking confirmation, you can relax and continue your journey to the Tannheim Valley.
Departure from Ulm: approx. 2:30 p.m.Travel time: approx. 90 minutes

On the return journey, the shuttle bus departs the Tannheim Valley in the morning, arriving at Ulm main station around 1:30 p.m. This allows sufficient time to transfer to long-distance trains heading north or to Vienna (departing around 2:00 p.m.).

All passengers receive up-to-date information on departure times and any changes by email.

Deposit / Advance Payment

Is a deposit required?
Yes. Upon booking, a 50% deposit is due.
The remaining balance can be paid on site in cash or easily via banking app transfer.
The corresponding QR code is printed on the invoice at check-out.
Alternatively, the remaining amount can be conveniently transferred from home shortly before arrival.

Bathrobes

Will I receive a bathrobe?
Bathrobes are provided in your room for a rental fee of €5. If none is available, please contact reception. Used bathrobes should be returned at check-out or let us know if you have used one. Alternatively, bathrobes can also be purchased for €75 per piece.

Bookcase

Are there books and games available to borrow?
Following the motto “take one – bring one”, you can borrow books and games from the bookcase on the first floor. Once you’ve finished a book, simply return it and choose a new one.

Check-in and Check-out?

When can we check in and when do we need to leave?
Your room/apartment is available from 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival until 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. If you arrive after 10:00 p.m., please inform us by phone in advance.
In case of earlier arrival or later departure, you are welcome to change in the sauna area for your day’s activities. Before check-in and after check-out, you may leave your luggage at reception or in the storage/ski room.

E-mobility

Is there an EV charging station?
Yes. For guests with electric vehicles, we offer convenient charging facilities directly opposite our parking area by the road, allowing you to charge your car comfortably during your stay.

Meals & Restaurant Hours

What are the breakfast times and when is the restaurant/pizzeria open?
Breakfast: Early morning coffee from 7:00 a.m., breakfast from 7:30 to 10:00 a.m.
À la carte hot kitchen: Tuesday to Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (pizza until 10:00 p.m.)

Bicycle Storage

Do you offer a place to store bicycles?
You can store your bikes in our garage. For e-bikes, several charging options are available there. Please note that the garage door is not locked.

Guest Card

What is included in the guest card?
Upon arrival, you will receive the Tannheimer Tal Guest Card. It offers numerous regional benefits.
During summer, you can use the participating cable cars (Tannheim, Grän, Schattwald) once per day (one ascent and/or descent) during operating hours, and enjoy unlimited daily access to the Haldensee outdoor pool.Another free service is the ski and hiking bus (excluding the line to Vilsalpsee).

Discounted offers include indoor and outdoor pools in the Tannheimer Tal, bike rental, ski rental, fishing and boat tickets (Raiffeisen), Galerie Augenblick, the local museum, guided church tours in Tannheim (voluntary donation), Felix Mitterer House cultural center (farm shop, guided tours, courtyard concerts), climbing & bouldering center, and Tanni’s Children’s Paradise.

Drinks

Where can I get something to drink?
Water, soft drinks, beer, wine, and more are available in our restaurant and in our Pub Freiheit.

Voucher

Can I purchase a voucher?
We are happy to issue value vouchers or gift vouchers for dining and overnight stays – ideal as a gift for special occasions.

Apartment Equipment

How is the holiday apartment equipped?
You do not need to bring the following items from home: shower gel, shampoo, hairdryer, bed linen, towels, toilet paper, hand soap, dish towels and dishwashing liquid, kettle, coffee machine and kitchen utensils.

Dogs

Are dogs allowed and what do they cost?
Dogs are welcome in selected room categories for an additional fee.
Shoulder height under 50 cm: €8.50 per day (food not included)
Shoulder height over 50 cm: €10.50 per day (food not included)

Please bring your own blanket or dog bed for your pet.
We reserve the right to charge for any additional final cleaning or damages, even retrospectively.
Dogs are only allowed in the restaurant upon prior arrangement.
Please dispose of dog waste at the designated dog stations in the village.

Included Services

Which inclusive services are included?
The summer cable cars and winter cable cars on specific dates, the Wasserwelten Haldensee outdoor pool, the Tanni children's club, our rich breakfast buffet, our small but nice sauna area and much more.

Children’s Equipment & Offers

Are baby cots and high chairs available?
We are happy to provide a baby travel cot for a fee.
A fall protection guard, high chair, toilet seat or potty, step stool, children’s bicycle and bike trailer, as well as sledges, are available free of charge for the duration of your stay.
In front of the house, on the meadow, your children will also find a playground.
Board games are available in our bookcase on the first floor.
In the restaurant, children can enjoy toys, colouring books and crayons.

Pillows

Can I get a different pillow?
Upon request, we are happy to provide an alternative or additional pillow.

Lunchbox

Can I get a packed lunch?
For your excursion or journey home, we are happy to prepare a packed lunch for you, or you can put one together yourself at the breakfast buffet.
Please place your order with us the day before.

Damages / Issues

What if I find something damaged or accidentally cause damage myself?
Please inform us immediately about any issues so that we can take care of them as quickly as possible.

Garbage disposal

Where should I dispose of my waste?
Please separate your waste according to the following system: paper, plastic, residual waste, organic waste, and glass. We take care of the disposal for you.

Parking

Where can I park?
You can park your car free of charge in our parking lot right in front of our house.

Prices

How are the prices calculated?
All prices are in euros and are per guest and night, including the inclusive services listed above.

Smoking

Is smoking allowed at Enzian?
We are a non-smoking property. Smoking is only permitted outdoors.

Room cleaning & laundry service

How often is my room cleaned?
Our rooms are cleaned daily. If you prefer no cleaning, you can cancel it day by day via the Gastfreund app or by using the door hanger. Bed linen is changed as needed, but at least once per week. Fresh towels are provided whenever you place the used ones on the floor.

Reception – Services

Which reception services do you offer?
Our reception team is happy to assist you – whether you would like to order flowers, book a romantic carriage ride, or reserve a table for a special occasion. As there are no safes in the rooms/apartments, we can also securely store your valuables for you.

Is there a safe?
There is no safe in the rooms/apartments. However, we are happy to securely store your valuables for you.

Swimming pool

Do you have a swimming pool?
Our small wellness area does not include a swimming pool. However, you can book an exclusive day spa at nearby hotels such as Schwarzer Adler, Liebes Rot-Flüh, or Lumberger Hof.

Keys

What does the room key open?
Your key opens both your room door and the main entrance door. The main entrance is locked outside restaurant opening hours and on the weekly day off from 6:00 p.m. onwards.

Ski room

Is there a ski or drying room?
You can store your winter sports equipment in the ski room on the right side of the ground floor. There are also two boot dryers for both hiking and ski boots. The room is accessible to hotel guests at all times.

Cancellation

What are the cancellation conditions?
Cancellation – unpleasant, but sometimes unavoidable.
It is unfortunate when rooms remain vacant even though other guests would have liked to come. On the other hand, unforeseen circumstances can always arise.
Our request: Please inform us as early as possible. We try to be accommodating and will attempt to re-let the room. If this is successful, no cancellation fees will be charged, even if the cancellation occurs within the cancellation period.

Up to 3 months before the agreed arrival date, the accommodation contract can be cancelled free of charge.
After that, the following cancellation fees apply if the room cannot be re-let:
From 3 months before arrival: 40% of the accommodation price
From 1 month before arrival: 70% of the accommodation price
From 1 week before arrival: 90% of the accommodation price
In case of no-show: 100% of the accommodation price

Table Reservation

Do I need to reserve a table?
Table reservations are recommended and during peak season even necessary to guarantee a seat. Of course, we also welcome spontaneous guests, but kindly ask for your understanding if there is a short waiting time.

Transfer

Is there a shuttle service or taxi available?
Please contact reception directly. We can arrange transfers from the train stations in Reutte or Pfronten-Ried. We are licensed for passenger transport.

Rental

Is there anything available for loan?
On request, we are happy to provide the following items free of charge:
• Hiking poles
• Sleds / toboggans
• Bicycle trailers
• Children’s bicycles

Deposit / Advance Payment

A 50% deposit is required upon booking.

Where can I get maps?
Maps are available for purchase at the following prices:
Road & mountain bike maps: €8.90
Hiking maps: €8.90
Cross-country ski & hiking maps: €2.00

Wellness Facilities

When is the sauna open?
Our sauna, sanarium and relaxation loungers are available in our small wellness area between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. on request (minimum advance booking of 30 minutes).
The sauna can be booked via the Gastfreund app or directly at the restaurant or reception. Sauna towels are provided on site. Bathrobes are available in your room for a fee of €5.
Our wellness area does not include a swimming pool. However, exclusive day spa experiences can be booked at nearby hotels such as Schwarzer Adler, Liebes Rot-Flüh or Lumberger Hof.

Free high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire house.

Payment Methods

Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash as well as EC, debit and V-Pay cards for amounts of €30 or more. Credit cards are not accepted.
Outstanding bills can be settled the day before departure after breakfast. Alternatively, the accommodation price can be paid in advance by bank transfer from home. Bank details can be found in your booking confirmation email.
At check-out you will receive your invoice, including a QR code that allows easy payment via banking app on site.

Newspapers

Is there a daily newspaper available?
The Tiroler Nachrichten newspaper is available at the counter in the restaurant entrance area. Other magazines can be purchased nearby at the local tobacconist.

Coeliac Disease & Allergies

Do you offer gluten-free breakfast and meals?
Please inform us of any intolerances at the time of booking. We are happy to serve gluten-free rolls for breakfast. Our restaurant also offers gluten-free dishes, which are clearly marked on the menu.
